Less enjoyable than what i had hoped. Both on the comedic and the dramatic sides...

There's something so charming about this movie. It's pretty simple, and to that point it's a bit slower paced, but it's a weirdly enjoyable slow pace... I couldn't help but be interested and entertained in the most mundane moments, some scenes so much so that I was enjoying watching more than some big-budget action films have done lately. There's some magic laced in the DNA of this movie in that regard but I can't quite put my finger on what it exactly is. I guess it might just be the feeling of an indie Sundance? A double "A" production? Not sure. But I'm glad I watched it, and I hope other people can enjoy its charm and humor like I did.

Looks weird... I'm watching it...

After the movie:
Not exactly bad, but not exactly good, some funny moments that cheer things up, weird and cosy film that is suitable for a quiet evening like now 05 in the morning

Film slightly inspired from Shelley's Frankenstein, unfortunately dull, both in a boring comedy and in a moral element a bit forced towards the end. Forgetful.

It’s got it’s randomness, it’s abnormal but also has it’s comedy, a heart. I loved it and it’s plot and great work from david earl.

Quirky comedy with the very talented David Earl and his washing machine, Chris Hayward. The ending doesn't make much sense but then again, this isn't a film to be taken too seriously.

The feature film version of the 2017 short film keeps the charm of the characters and is more optimistic, but it doesn't find the formula to lengthen the story satisfactorily. The romantic plot works halfway, while the third act with the bullying is childish. But there is an interesting reflection on the search for a friend who nevertheless wants to explore other places. The mockumentary style gets lost, surprisingly, half way through.

It's incredibly charming with tons of great moments. The simplicity is beautiful, but it also does significantly limit the antagonist dynamic in a way that hampers the film from becoming something truly great. It's still a very enjoyable film and the shorter runtime is something I wish we got out of more films.

Improvement Suggestions:
Charles should have ended the movie with a jetpack, and that's how they beat Eddie. Then he just flies around the world and goes to his destinations. Way more satisfying.
Darker ending:
Charles eats Eddie by opening his washing machine door and jamming him inside, followed by the statement "yum yum in my tum tum."
