Bright Lights is a very entertaining watch from start to finish. It really doesn't matter that Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds have recently passed away this documentary would've been incredible either way. The two women love each other despite being very different in some ways. Debbie Reynolds was always a star and she really shines bright in this documentary, more so than Carrie does. You can really feel the love between mother and daughter here and the fact that these women died a day apart really makes sense.

Bright Lights tells you all you want to know. Its not all sunshine and roses. It gets a little dirty sometimes which is hard to avoid when both women were such huge stars. This documentary may have gained more meaning because of Fisher and Reynolds death but it is a great story either way.
