unique and aesthetic :
I love it because finally a Indian movie with not music. I hate music or songs so much in movie. Well one music or song doesn't really bother but Indian movies have more there 3 songs on each movies. That's annoyed me so much. Finally Indian movie makers understand that their can make a movie without noise.

2nd the visual aesthetic of scene Oh M G i love it. No dirty scene. Dirty means not sexual things I mean but if you notice most of Indian movies look dirty ( house ) in some way but it was clean. The red colour in scene were not horribly creepy red but it was somehow fantasy red colour for me. The colours were beautiful.

That's all but i rot for bulbbul so much. She was so most innocent and sweet and all she wanted was a friend who she can talk and that guy was on her age can understand her most ( because similar age people trend get friends faster ).

But at the end no one understand her but that doctor. I rot for her from my bottom of heart. She deserves justice. How can those peoples live happily when she is so sad and alone.

BULBBUL (2020) REVIEW ⏱
.
.
:scroll: Plot : Story revolves around a young returning home to find his brothers child bride grown up and mysterious deaths happening in the village.
.
:man:‍⚖ Review : Marketed as a movie of Horror genre? But Why.. ? Bulbbul isn't a horror film rather it's a feminist tale of the sufferings by tormenting patriarchy. The movie is just 94 mins long but will test your patience till the end credits. The story is basically a revenge drama disguised as a horror flick with very little value to its genre. Story is predictable and the screenplay of the movie plays spoilsport. The premise could have been more engaging based on the fact that India has a huge legacy of folklore to get inspiration from but in this movie, here the writers decide to take the most clichéd of myths as the backdrop.

The Cinematography , Production Design and Costume Design are picturesque and performances of Avinash and Tripti are commendable. Avinash is confident and has a promising future while Tripti is fearless and more confident after her first movie. Paoli Dam is the brilliant as the jealous young sister in law. Rahul Bose as the Thakur is average as he was under used.
.
:thumbsup:Goods : The Production Design takes you back to the Bengali Cultures of the past , the promising performances of the young leads.
.
.
 Bads : Undercooked and Predictable story, Tacky Screenplay and use of stereotypical myths.
.
.
:fire: Final Rating : 6.5/10
.
.
:white_check_mark: Recommendation : Mostly this movie speaks volumes in term of respect and honor of women back in the day. This movie is not a horror movie so keep your expectations sorted. Not all will relate and love this movie. If you have 94mins to do nothing then you can watch it.
