I actually surprisingly enough really enjoyed this. I'm kind of conflicted with Captain America. On the one hand, I think he's a dreadfully boring character, but for some reason I really liked both of his movies and they're probably two of the best Marvel films. Oh well~

Really liked the tone of the movie and overall it was much better than the first one (which I also liked).

Somehow, after watching for the second time, I loved this movie even more. It's just so damn neat. The action is unbelievably good. The plot is engaging, kept me on edge from the beginning till the end. And the tension was real, even with knowing the result, I was still slightly nervous when everything was coming to conclusion. It's the first serious film in MCU, as far as I'm concerned, and for me it was even more enjoyable than your standard pop-corn super-hero movie. To me Captain America seemed like a boring character after his first introduction, now it's hard to believe how invested I am in him. Also, Winter Soldier was such a great villain, even with barely saying a word he effortlessly stole the show. Hydra though. Such losers. You'd think, after all those fails, they'd just give up and go home.

Basically the best movie the MCU has so far.

This is one of the best movies the MCU has to offer. The story was not your typical superhero must fight a cartoonish villain which is a great change of pace. It's grounded to make it more believable. Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson have great chemistry together. This is where Black Widow really starts to shine as a character, she was just fine in The Avengers and Iron Man 2. Anthony Mackie and Sam Jackson are both really good too. Sebastian Stan as the Winter Solider is a great "villain" so much better than an alien trying to take over the world. The action is great, the Russo brothers have that on lock. The movie just flows really well and never drags.
