La France: --and she'll be a child 1/3 his age whom he met for the first time when he gave her expensive gifts and she was only 11!
The World: Can't we just watch Amélie again?

Dreadful film, this. It's rare that a film can be so politically incorrect yet be so painfully boring at the same time. And while Stacy Martin was a delightful choice for the ingenue, Vincent Lindon (the French Fozzie the Bear) is as credible a choice for Casanova as Kathy Bates (though she is the better actor).
