Killer Terminator robot Santa slasher mayhem! Nice retro style, neon lights everywhere and a whole bunch of Christmas visuals. It's very violent but they don't show enough of the kills and gore. F-bomb galore and the comedy is vulgar and annoying. I wish the robot looked more robot-like for the first three quarters of the movie. The third act was on another level the colors, the practical effects, the chaos it was an absolute blast and one of the coolest robot sequences i've seen.

As bad as it gets. Not even the good kind of bad. Most annoying to me was the dialog, especially of the main protagonist. I would avoid anyone who says fuck as much as her and I can't believe it was scripted that way. What a huge turnoff. Kept wanting to tell her to shut the fuck up. Besides that, everything else was dumb decisions and unimaginative storytelling.

"Sounds like you don't wanna fuck in a toy store"

A murdering robot Santa made by the army? Like that isn't something I could get behind! Fake commercials? Also an epic thing! Yes, this is off to a good start.

87 minutes later and I'm disappointed. After the movie I was over the neon-light style, I wasn't enjoying any of the characters, even the kills lacked something. But still it was passable. But it is such a shame that I love the concept. But if your characters are trying to say fuck in every sentence and it doesn't make any sense and you have a 20 minute scene between Tori (Riley Dandy) and Robbie (Sam Delich) where they keep "flirting and talking about sex" and nothing else happens and I'm watching a horror movie. I'm kind of out.

No, this is not my Christmas horror movie.

A decent film. Nice practical effects for a change instead of the CGI fest that is prevalent.
Too bad if fell into the trope of the "stupid cops".

If you enjoyed movies like Silent Night, Deadly Night and Chopping Mall - you'll probably appreciate this one too.

Damn, this was a lot of fun! An entertaining, stylish, violent holiday slasher that brings us festive chills and gory fun, and is destined to become a cult Christmas classic. Although this film offers nothing new or groundbreaking, I mean it's a slasher, but everything here is operating like a well-oiled machine. Filled with great performances with a tight runtime and excellent pacing. It succeeds in exactly what it's trying to do and knows exactly when it has to shift gears not to overstay its welcome. I also really adore its raw punk energy. If you enjoy Christmas horror then this is a great alternative holiday viewing.

Loved the 80s retrowave set & soundtrack. Heard someone call it Terminator if Rob Zombie directed it in 16mm neon drenched glory w a side of high fidelity thrown in. Dandy was excellent as Tori. Will look out for her other work. Will also seek out more of Begos' features. This was a blast. Yes the ending was a bit long, but felt tongue in cheek like those family guy skits that never end. Strong 7.1 for genre fans.

Interesting fucking premise (were it not --stolen-- influenced from Futurama) if it weren't fucking ruined by constant annoying dialogue where everyone has to up the other with juvenile fucking curses and sexual fucking conversations only fucking brewksie bros would fucking have during a goddamn fucking keg party. I can live with the fucking neon look of the fucking thing but a buck toothed foul mouthed crack whore drenched in neon Christmas lights and fucking glow in the dark fucking glitter would fucking have a better chance of fucking making me enjoy the moment more than this.

FUCK

Hot garbage, _Christmas Bloody Christmas_ is a poorly made killer Santa movie from Shudder. The story follows a record store owner who’s chased by a malfunctioning animatronic robot Santa Claus that goes on a killing spree for some reason. The main characters are all pretty dislikable and extremely vulgar. And the vulgarity really hurts the film, as the excessive cursing during the casual dialog diminishes its impact during the attack scenes (which lack any intensity or suspense). Also, the gore effects are incredibly cheesy and gratuitous. _Christmas Bloody Christmas_ is an atrociously bad film that’s neither entertaining nor scary in any way.

Christmas Bloody Christmas is a gleefully gory and darkly humorous romp through a twisted holiday landscape. It's not for those expecting heartwarming Christmas fare, but for fans of B-movie horror with a wicked sense of humor, it's a bloody good time that will leave you chuckling and cringing in equal measure. Just be prepared for a Santa whose jolly laugh has been replaced with a homicidal roar.

"Christmas Bloody Christmas" is an highly enjoyable film, expecially if you, like me, love 80s movies, neon photography, blood and gory action but is very derivative and a "more of the same" in the filmography of Joe Begos.
I believe Begos peaked with "Bliss" and we wouldn't get another film like that, or better, because he wants to stay in his 80s action\sci-fi\horror comfort zone.
This is not necessarily a bad thing for me because i can take hundreds of films like this one and VFW and still like them all, but the question of what he might do if he steps out of his comfort zone remains unanswered.
