This weak festive effort begins surprisingly well but then it descends into sentimentality, predictability, and ridiculousness. Not quite as unbearable as a plate of Brussel sprouts but it's still a turkey.

_Christmas on Mistletoe Farm_ is an incredibly silly and juvenile family film. The story follows a workaholic single father with five children who inherits a country farm and decides to spend the Christmas holiday there, but when running the farm starts conflicting with his city job he’ll have to decide which one is more important. The writing is terrible, as there are no real characters, just broad stereotypes; a neglectful father, a simpleton farmhand, evil businessmen, etc. Also, the plot is painfully predictable and operates on kid logic. And the comedy is aimed at young children, relying on a lot of slapstick and physical humor. Formulaic tripe, _Christmas on Mistletoe Farm_ is a poorly made film that doesn’t deliver any laughs.
