Let it be known that I'm a sucker for so-bad-it's-good Christmas romances, but this one is just a bit too bad to be enjoyable. The only reason I was able to finish it was because I like to support my girl Kaitlyn Leeb (lead actress) and I hate leaving movies unfinished. The premise is cute (if you're willing to overlook the blatant inaccuracy of their depiction of how hospitals operate) but the execution is just way too cringe LMAO. I gave a generous rating of ~four~ because I don't think I could ever outright hate a royalty Christmas movie. There's no chemistry between the leads, and the script is just...how did someone write that and say, "Yes, this is how people talk." I want to know. The last 30 minutes were completely unnecessary; I was really sitting there wondering why I was still here. Just to suffer? Every night I can feel my leg....and my arm....even my fingers.....

Kaitlyn Leeb stars in the romantic comedy Christmas with a Prince, another mediocre holiday film from Harlequin. The story follows a pediatric doctor who agrees to allow a playboy prince recovering from a skiing accident to convalesce on her children’s ward, out of the public eye, but she soon discovers that he’s not the elitist playboy that she thought he was and starts to develop feelings for him. Leeb gives a solid performance, but the rest of the cast is pretty weak. And the plot is painfully cliché and full of the usual tropes. Still, some of the comedy works and there are some cute moments. While it has its problems, and it has problems, Christmas with a Prince is an entertaining film that delivers what it promises.
