We all expect Christmas movies to be overly cheesy and rather redundant m, that's just kind of how it all works, but this movie was bad. Yes, Shane and Clive were "Hallmark hot" as they say, but that was the only thing this movie had going for it. The romance was more annoying than romantic, the characters were somewhat bipolar, overreacting for every little thing. One minute they're in love after one date, then they take offense at the stupidest stuff and suddenly it's over. Then they forgive each other just to break up again over something else. And yet, despite having the worst relationship ever, they're somehow madly in love by the end. So in love that he buys her a resort for Christmas before even finding out if she'll forgive him. (yes, a whole resort). If I was dating someone who was so extreme and overreacted at every little thing like that, I would be running, not buying her a resort. And two people calling a defective relationship true love is frustrating, not romantic. And, it's also possible that I've seen too many Christmas movies this year and I just didn't have the patience for this one, so sorry to anyone who loved it.
