a good christmas movie. but damn aimee is 44? i thought she was younger, she looks amazing. i was gonna complain they paired her with freddie but they are almost the same age

This movie has lucked romance. There was not a single point in it that made me feel that the two protagonists were attracted to each other. It was more like two friends having fan rather than being lovers

The budget must have been very low, because the production couldn't even afford an ophthalmologist to treat the main character's conjunctivitis (red eyes). ;>

Aimee Garcia and Freddie Prinze Jr. star in the Netflix romantic comedy _Christmas with You_. When her record label demands a Christmas song, aging pop star Angelina goes looking for inspiration and finds it while visiting a fan; and decides to team up with her father to write the song and stays with them while they work on it. Garcia and Prinze both give strong performances (especially Garcia), and have good chemistry; but their backed by a rather poor supporting cast that’s playing to broad stereotypes. Also, the Spanglish motif can be a bit problematic; switching between English and Spanish dialog, and requiring a certain level of familiarity with Hispanic culture (i.e telenovelas, quinceañeras, etc.). Yet the comedy is well-done, as is the music. While it’s entertaining and has its moments, _Christmas with You_ is a mediocre holiday film.

I thought this was a super cute Christmas movie. And, yes, while it's stereotypically cheesy, it's not as cheesy as most Christmas films. The chemistry between the leads was spot on and seeing Freddie prince Jr. again is great!

Damn, this was bad. Like really bad, like bad with a vengeance. But I stuck with it because of Aimee.
