A wildly entertaining animated action horror filled with explosions, monsters, extreme violence, and blood & gore. It's impossible to rate this less than five stars. The stop-motion animation in this is simply outstanding. I really do enjoy and appreciate the sheer effort that goes into the craft. I admit that this might not be to everyone’s taste as there's a lot of gags that's juvenile and offensive, but for the most part it’s hilarious. This thing is basically a really fun 80s schlock that's so patently absurd and cartoonish that the humor goes so well with this type of film. And the fact that it's an animated feature make it much more special. Also, the entire third act is extremely over the top and wholly absurd in the best way possible, I love it. Can’t recommend this enough!

This was amazing and so much more than I ever expected would fill these 90 minutes. Mike Mort with directing, writing, voice acting, creature creating and producing credits? Crazy.

Fans of Sledge Hammer, Commando, Bullet in the Face, any 80s over-the-top action goodness and appreciate all of the work that goes into stop-motion, look no further.

Now here's hoping there's a future blu-ray release, even if it's years down the road.
