"My brother will come for you and kill you all." Low budget action movie, few settings, with good fights. I was surprised that the boss's minions, in addition to introducing them, are not cannon fodder

A Rogue soldier Colton MacReady (Scott Adkins) is forced to protect his sister and young niece from a corrupt sheriff and the cartel.

I only watched this film because I like Scott Adkins. Unfortunately even he was not enough to save the movie. The story is a simple protect his family mission but its constant cliché after cliché that is just a downward spiral. I thought the opening scene showed a bit of promise with some well-choreographed scenes but what is to follow sadly didn't match that.

Look, it's a B-movie action film I get that, while the storyline is pretty pathetic which I expected, I at least wanted to see Scott Adkins kick a load of bad guys ass and I rarely got any of that. For an action movie, I didn't get a whole lot of it. The final confrontation was a joke, and I just didn't like much of it.

Very dull action movie that Adkins deserved better from. 3/10.
