Interesting, but as a Nirvana/Kurt fan since the eary 90s, nothing really new, except for the family footage (him as a baby and him interacting with baby Frances Bean). I was expecting more.

LOVED IT. It portrays nothing new if you are a hardcore Nirvana/Kurt Cobain fan, however, the film was so well made. The transitions from his sketches to photographs to home footage to music/interview videos and animated scenarios were so perfectly built up and put together. Totally worth the time!

Wow, he was seriously doomed from the beginning. Really powerful and essentially in his own words albeit cut together to make a specific statement but still ... Just really sad.

This is at its best when Morgen puts the viewer in Cobain's shoes. The second half of this documentary is excellent, there's very little handholding and I love how impressionistic/experimental it gets at points.
