Hilarious! May be my new favorite light horror/monster comedy movie.

Like when you buy a kilo of cocaine and it turns out to be baby laxative.

Cocaine Bear (or how to take a great idea and turn it into a Directflix) was stepped on so heavily your can still see the shoeprint in the snow.

(PS 250+ seats in my theater and I was literally the only person in the cinema. Maybe it had something to do with the fact the French re-titled the movie to "Crazy Bear" and who the fuck would want to see a movie with a name that stupid?)

They turned an inane concept into a fun watch! The trailer completely undersells the fun — which turned out to be good because I went in with very low expectations. Granted it isn’t a cinematic masterpiece but turn your brains off and it’s throughly enjoyable. Easy to recommend.

Just too stupid for words.

Surprisingly bad. Was expecting a fun movie like Zombeavers, Snakes on a Plane or Sharknado but mostly it was boring with some fun moments.

Cocaine Bear, what a title with so much potential to be a wild ride. Unfortunately, to my disappointment, it was lacking in all aspects and felt incredibly mid.

I wish this had a better director that injects style, humour, and energy to make it stand out. No scenes were thrilling enough, not crazy enough, and didn't leave anything to glee over after it ended.

Although the best scene in the film was the ambulance chase, even though it is in the trailer, and while speaking about positives, there were some decent death scenes, but that's it.

It was strange how this film tries to have a heartfelt message towards the end, even though this should have been just a schlocky good time.

Oh my. Baloo sure has changed since I last read The Jungle Book.

Well, it’s not as exciting and stupid as the trailer made out. A little on the boring side really. I was … whelmed. This movie gets a definite meh.

I always light up when I see character actress Margo Martindale in a movie when I least expect it! She stole the show. And besides character actress Margo Martindale we also get Keri Russell! She's still beautiful! Ray Liotta is still badass, Mitchell Prichett was there! I mean Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Even Matthew Rhys! Isiah Whitlock Jr. is always solid. We even got Ice Cube jr! Such a solid cast for a movie about a black bear high on cocaine.

I went into Cocaine Bear loving the idea but wondering how they will play it but they went for laughs and it worked. It has the perfect 90 minute running time for a movie like this and it never gets really dull. Some fun gore and the bear was decent and it even teaches the youth that if you see a bear, Black you fight and Brown you get down! Such handy information.

Anyway just go into Cocaine Bear with a few mates and some beers, wine or whatever you like, turn off your brain, relax and be entertained.

Yes, you know what you are getting into here when you select this film, but it's all over the place. Does it want to be violent? Funny? Over-the-top? Gritty? It doesn't seem to know. At least SNAKES ON A PLANE knew what it was. If you're going to watch a film strictly on title, I would suggest that one.

Typical exaggerated American action movie.

Absolute fun. it's exactly what you should imagine.

The only negative is how silly of Universal to dump it out for release in the "we doubt it'll be good" February slot.

Just out of the cinema having watched this and I’m very happy to say it was well worth the ticket price.
If you go into this expecting a an epic masterpiece then you’re just dumb, this film does what it does very well and I was entertained throughout.

remember bears are just big dogs. but srsly, this was a nice 80s b-list horror movie done right in the modern day. A little gory but the title should've warned you already. Honestly, it felt campy almost like a Tollywood horror movies I saw as a kid. Acting was alright but good for this sort of movie. I think I recognized a tiktoker in there too, so good for him.

Not a bad, entertaining movie, there are funny moments in their situation. But like any game movie for one time viewing. I will definitely purchase this film for my collection, and if necessary, I will revise the scenes I am interested in as soon as it comes out in quality. :fist::grin:

Nothing bad to say about the film. It was just good ol dumb fun. Leave your brain at the door, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the show

A surprisingly enjoyable, funny, short movie. A film called "Cocaine Bear" isn't going to give you the biggest expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself chuckling away with a huge grin on my face throughout. Some wonderfully gory moments with enough of a plot to keep you entertained!

Before you watch this, just remember, this is a comedy/shock movie. If you think its going to be an amazing movie and not just entertaining, you would be fooling yourself. Enjoy it :)

I almost died from laughing when [spoiler] the bear slept on the guy and they thought she is dead, lol!! [/spoiler]. The movie is very funny, but it has some extremely bloody scenes that I almost couldn't watch. Overall, it definitely worth watching, and I feel sorry for the actual people as it is based on a true story, but the movie added a lot of fictional events, for example in real life the bear didn't do most of those stuff and died from overdose.

A suitably fun B movie. Like many B movies, I don’t know if it’d be as fun alone at home, but it’s a good time with a game cast. Especially Isaiah Whitlock Jr, put that man in everything. I think it struggles to match the ambulance scene, and if it kept that energy throughout it’d be higher. While it didn’t leave me high, the movie at least left me with a buzz.

Cocaine Bear was an amusing idea that just wasn't well executed. The subplots were weak and the story arc was flat. It did have some laughs but wasn't as fun as I'd hoped.

Have to watch it just to see Ray Liotta.

Don't know what I was expecting, but that wasn't it, lol. Probably more thriller/horror. The movie doesn't fall under the _horror_ genre, but it was a fun watch. I enjoyed it, except for some parts.
