On the plus side, there was very little "acting" from Seagal; most of the time he was just semi-hidden away in the shadows not doing much. Apart from that one good thing about this movie, it was so convoluted and confusing that it was very difficult to follow, even with the conclusion. The concept has been done before, but it wasn't executed very well in this film. As before, I continue my insane quest to watch every film that has Steven Seagal in it. As a former fan of his, it really is hard to see how far he's fallen when he had so much potential early on. He was awesome in his earliest movies, but he's just turned into a chunky, overdressed (to hide the extra baggage) shadow of the "Nico Toscani" from _Above the Law_. Crying shame. As with almost all of his DTVs, this wasn't his worst but it was far from his best.

For any other diehard Seagal fans that are pondering this one, be advised that, while it isn't a "bit part", per se, Seagal plays a very minimal role here. His face graces the poster art, his name gets top billing, he produced the movie...but his character is pretty obscure in this one.
