Containment was not a very good film, but for what its worth I have seen much worse. I can sometimes get a thrill out of movies like this, but the characters were so dull, it becomes hard to enjoy it. They are so unlikeable it makes the movie drag slower than it should. The development is really poor and have no depth to them at all. I really could have done without the old lady, she was just annoying. She is great in Benidorm and has similar humour in this, but it didn't work for me here. I didn't care if any of them lives or dies. Their was just a lot of bickering amongst themselves and not much progression.

I get this is a low budget movie, so I do appreciate the cinematography, location, and atmosphere. This isn't a very long film, but even at 1 hour 13mins it just felt too long and added some filler in their just to make it a bit longer than it needed to be. I have seen mixed feelings on the ending, some people like how ambiguous it was, but personally for me I like a satisfying ending that gives me closure. This a very below average thriller.
