The horror continues (well, actually it doesn’t) in Creepshow 2, the second anthology from George A. Romero and Stephen King. The film features three tales of terror, including a wooden Indian statue that comes to life, a mysterious slick that stalks a group of swimmers, and a hitchhiker who won’t die, that are tied together by an animated sequence. The acting is really poor, as is the directing. Also, the makeup effects look extremely cheap, and so do the sets and costumes. Not nearly as frightening as the original, Creepshow 2 isn’t able to deliver that many scares.

Fun horror anthology. A little on the cheap, but I actually kind of like this one more than the original. Thanks for the ride lady!

Just watched it again for at least the third time. It hasn't aged well but it's not **quite** as weak as the original _Creepshow_ (1982). That first segment, though, with the wooden Indian… wow, that was pretty weak. I mean, I think the whole film was intended to be "campy" (as opposed to true "horror") but they went beyond campy: this was just weird...and not in a "creepy weird" way; this was just stupid weird. Don't watch this one more than once…or at least, don't ever admit to it. LOL

This was lame. Just…just way lame.

The Raft is one of my favorite Stephen King short stories and I love the adaptation in this film. Such good 80s camp. I just love the vibe of Creepshow and it will always be a fave of mine.

Classic 80s "horror" fun. Horror is in quotes because it pales in comparison to today's horror.

I do like the short story aspect of this. I was able to watch this in 3 different sittings and not miss any story lines.

Wish they made movies like this today.

Romero + King + Savini. What could go wrong! I remember this is available on Shudder and decided to revisit. Still as good as I remember. All the stories are fun and packed with nice thrill and suspense. The lake blob is my favorite!
