This is a story of incompetent CIA agents.
Agent Quaker should be fired. After an experimental brain wave transfer, executed first time on humans, he expects patient to remember everything right after the surgery... And when he doesn't, he just decides to give up instantly. Now that is top notch management skills there...

Jerico was secured in a top-level prison with chains and everything and brought in to the surgery unconscious. But when the surgery "failed", Agent Quaker decided to sent him back in a causal police car without any precautions this time... Now that is top notch management skills v2.

Jill triggers the silent alarm and they call to verify. And the dead guy, Jerico causally talks like Bill. No one on the receiving end gets suspicious or thinks about the fact that the guy is dead.

Jill is also not that smart, after a break by entering pin code, she fails to change the pin code and Jerico revisits..

Agent Quaker is incompetent enough to put some guards to the door for Jill, in case Jerico visits again. He should get a raise, really.

And finally Jerico/Bill... Why are you not smart enough to check if Martha is dead after the explosion, like really? Of course the same goes to Martha as well...
Long story short, CIA is not the smartest agency in the world which makes it a bit painful to watch. :/

**A man with the two minds!**

This is a very familiar theme, but a different format and gives a different scientific excuse to execute the story. It is kind of 'Face/off' and 'Self/less' meets the 'Hardcore Henry'. It has some decent stunt sequences, but most of the film was just running and chasing around. And then there's a youngster whose involvement was the centre of the narration.

It all begins when an American secret agent was killed before completing his mission in the London. The important data from his brain were transmitted to a prison serving convict and then after the surgery he goes loose. So the man hunt begins against the running out of the time where the original mission needs to be accomplished. How the rest of the story shapes up were a fast paced action-thriller.

Something I don't like in the todays films are the open ending keeping in mind a sequel. This was an average box office film, but they might make another film. Wonderful cast, though. There are too many big names and everybody did the brief roles, except Kevin Costner in the main character, a tough one. But I did not know it was his film till I watch. In the poster he looked like somebody else. Though he did well along with the others, particularly Gal Gadot who I saw recently as Wonder Woman and now as an ordinary wife. A swift pace, but the story was nothing, overly depended on the star value as well as the stunts and the technical quality. Overall film was okay kind, partially entertaining, because of the performances.

6/10

Another knock-off of well-known subjects.

Solid making, good cast, some action and brutality, big stakes; all the formula components are there.
But the big drama fails to be emotionally engaging.

OK to watch with lowered expectations, waste of time if you expect more.

Not smart, but at times affecting, but gets overly trite in the end.

This was a strong 5/10. I say _strong_ because I would never suggest anyone watch a 5/10 film in its entirety, and then only if there's a particular scene or performance from an actor you like. This however, had a good pace, and a strong 2nd Act, with some great performances from Costner, Jones, and Gadot. I'm afraid the script and the directing doesn't really allow anyone else to be important enough that they couldn't have been easily replaced by anyone, and the best dialog of the main characters is mediocre at best.

I enjoyed it because I was in the mood for an action film, and the pace delivered, and got some unexpectedly touching scenes between Costner and Gadot, who I had never actually seen in a film. And, given what she's known for, I was pleasantly surprised at her acting ability. It isn't at all realistic regarding how bullet wounds work, how or what's remotely achievable in network and device hacking, but it also isn't overly pleased with its inept stupidity like Nistopher Chrolan films, and it actually _shows_ rather than _tells_ the change and confliction in the lead character. Still, Oldman's character is an idiot. But we are talking about a senior field operative in the American intelligence community, so maybe it's not that unrealistic.

End the end, though, it's just more banal establishment propaganda with cliché, make believe terrorists copy-pasted to scare Carnhart-wearing middle aged and older American men into blindly supporting their mass murdering, inhumane regimes and giving them an outlet for their pent up frustration with their pathetic, unfulfilled lives of slavish labor.

Oh, the ending scene score song _Drift and Fall Again_ by Madsonik (feat. Lola Marsh) is a lovely song and deserved a better film for it to play out the last scene.
