I had a good time watching the movie but the wasted potential left a sour aftertaste. The "Welp" idea was cool and it had some creepy moments going along with the bullied boy scout. I also liked the score and the film looked quite good. But for reasons unknown they decided to slap some unneeded slasher elements on top of it which lead to nonsense. Maybe their whole crowd funding campaign had something to do with it where people could buy "traps" to kill a "cub". There certainly would have been more scouts to kill here. Here is hoping that the guy gets to try again.

Wat was dat ?? Good start but then ... Horror with a Very small h. Not creepy at all. If there was more a story behind it, why all things happen. Bit nothing of that . And the end... Pff normally flemish movies are alright, but now I know that they don't make horror that I like.

Started off really promising then it went downhill. I gotta say at least the death scenes were great. The story didn't make any sense. The lazy writing was too obvious, like they didn't care to finish it. The characters were unconvincing most of the times. It only cover the surface, not digging deep the story and how could that happen. Overall it was unlikeable.

Legends are created to inspire, scare, obey and for entertainment. Sometimes for some people, it's a great opportunity to utilise the concept to do illegal things. I would truly hate Baloo in this if i was part of that cub scout group.
Also, damn that dog death was something else.

This movie dances between survival and slasher horror quite wonderfully.
It had me anxious to see how it will all end.
