While the premise of the story still holds up, and strangely the effects are not _THAT_ dodgey considering its age. The acting, the writing, the directing - are all definitely relics of B-Grade 70s movies

You know what I liked about this film? Within the first ten minutes it went from everything's normal to all the shit had hit the fan. Within the next five minutes the stage for the rest of the story had been set. Then we were off to the races. No fucking around with buildup and character crap we didn't need to know. Why? Because this is sci-fi tv b-movie of the week fun and that's all we need to know. Thank God for movies that know what they are and what's expected and get down to doing just that well without pretending to be something else. Let me pass along a bit of wisdom to future B-movie filmmakers: Own what you are and don't fuck it up by pretending to be something "better". You might just just end up making a watchable film. This one did just that.
