_Mon Ket_ ('My Son' in Belgian slang) is just one more reason to like Belgian star François Damiens...as though there weren't enough already. This film is the actor's first time behind the camera and he delivers here a comedy similar in style to _Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa_ (older and younger actors interact with real people in candid camera type situations), with the exception that _Mon Ket_ has a more traditional storyline and semblance of a narrative arc. The first half of the film is laugh out loud funny and even touching at moments, and while the hook loses its effectiveness in the second half, overall the film remains a fun way to spend 90 minutes.
