From what I've seen this one didn't get that many positive reviews. I for one enjoyed myself. Maybe because I'm OK with the lack of resolve for the drama at the end.
The movie takes on a serious issue and puts the Carrie spin on it. I was very pleased with the color design (esp. early in the movie) which helped making it look not quite so generic. The direction was fine and the acting from the lead girl aswell. As for the adults.. let's just say that it felt a bit forced and akward from time to time. The main issue for me was the ending. The role reversal came out of nowhere and the results of it were quite dumb. With all the foreshadowing they could have gone for a proper ending instead of biting trough everything again.
All there is left for me to say is: best birthday party, ever! (and why would you dedicate this movie to "Grany" :O)??

I’m still undecided on which rating to give this.

A very dark film and disturbing almost.

Wasn’t a high budget, however still well done and the young girl played the part well.

Certainly a horror film, but the subject matter was too dark for me, unsettling to the point I didn’t enjoy it. But, it was still a well made film.

Not sure I feel it concluded well, again unsettling.

And as another person mentioned it was dedicated To Grany at the end, which I found very strange.

This is one worth sticking with. Despite the low budget feel, and occasionally wooden acting (from the adults), this actually builds up to something tense and unsettling. Better than you would imagine.

Like a meth head's life, _Dark Touch_ is confused and incomplete.

This film puts the 'psycho' in 'psychokinesis' and is a bit of a let down after the director's tour-de-force, 2002's_Dans Ma Peau_ / _In My Skin_.
