It was just okay. I will say this. I’m starting to see this in a lot of action movies…there is such a thing as too much choreography in a fight scene, and this movie had a lot of it

I wish I had liked it more, the idea and the actors are good but the execution was not the best. at first, because of the first scene, I thought the movie would be something like "evil dead" but it ended up becoming a superficial comedy without major developments and with no scene better than the first one. if someone asks if you liked it, you'll probably say: meh

"That's what I love about LA. All the damn vampires." All Day Shift needed was more Steve Howey and Scott Adkins as the Nazarian brothers. Get me a Nazarian Brothers sequel! Anyway Day Shift has a great opening action scene, decent vampire lore, a big evil bad vampire plane which involves real estate, Snoop Doggy Dogg, epic vampire hunting brothers in Steve Howey and Scott Adkins, bureaucratic shit and a lot of murdering of vampires. Might have been more enjoyable then I anticipated but that is a good thing. It was a fun film. That is just about it. Just go in there not expecting the world and you'll be fine. Ps. Vampires don't pee or poop.

This was really mediocre in basically every regard: Action, comedy, story, characters, you name it. Also as much as I like James Franco his brother is simply unbearable to me.

A cliche wrapped up in cliche. He's down on his luck, his wife's leaving him with his kid, he needs money....he hunts vampires in between cleaning pools...

I liked it. It's good weekend movie or late night flick. It's not terribly deep but it has good special effects when; good quality. The action, when there needs to be action, is good. There is a good flow from scene to scene which staves off that dreaded "grade B film" feel.
