From Showtime comes DC 9/11: Time of Crisis, a poorly made historical drama. Using a combination of real footage and dramatic re-enactments, the film follows the events of September 11, 2001 and the weeks that followed. Unfortunately the blending of footage doesn't work and only serves to highlight the poor quality of the sets and effects. Also, the performances aren't very good and don't feel natural. Some credit has to be given to this project for its ambition, and for providing some in-depth looks at what went on behind the scenes of the Bush administration. But despite its good intentions, DC 9/11: Time of Crisis is just too clumsily made to be taken seriously or have any real impact.
