Welp that was certainly an interesting film. It did deliver on it's title and it's premise and a pretty solid theme. Dead Dicks goes places you can't possibly anticipate. Certainly a lot of the value in the movie can be found in that.

Honestly it's just interesting. You can get past the budget constraints for some bits the rest tends to be roiled up in the whole "Richie's a dick" theme. He makes a lot of bad decisions but bad decisions aren't out of character for him.

For the constraints that must have been in place for the production of this movie it's remarkably effective. One thing I don't like, but which is rather common is the messy room as set design. I can understand wanting a background to fade into the background but these unlivable awful rooms just scratch my pulse every time. Even when they are arguably justified like maybe here.

I've had this on my to watch list for a very long time. I've had it in my collection for a fair amount of time waiting for it's turn to come up. I'm glad I finally took the dive and hit play. I don't know if it's anything my friends and/or family would be interested in but I certainly admire it for being unique.
