It's a movie that never loses sight of what it originally intends, nor does it pander to taste or pretend to be better than it is. The script is solid and seamless. There are some shortcomings as to continuity and perspective of a linear timeline, but there is SO much emotion in even the smallest scenes as to make this almost trivial. I believe this is a masterpiece of directing overall that goes far beyond the mediocre nature of even the best of Hollywood's action films. It has a passionate heart with a brutal honesty that involves vulnerability conflicting with its own desire for the desolation of complete resolve regardless of circumstance.

Brilliant movie, its like an action movie and love story all rolled into one. Good acting from Farrell, Dubstep gun scenes, hot girl. Can't go wrong really. Only thing that let it down was the weird colouration at certain points of the movie.

Haha what, a trailer for the trailer? Doesn't look that interesting to be honest.. I was more distracted by the awful color grading.

This is a watchable movie and will be enjoyed by many. However, I found it to be a forgettable movie because I forgot I had seen this before as I was watching again last night. I don't usually forget that I've seen a movie. I might occasionally be stumped about remembering a movie but will always within just a few seconds recognize it and recall the plot and storyline. once again, however, this movie I could not remember a single thing about it and yet it felt familiar. There would be flashes of remembrance (not deja vu) of some scenes but it never sparked any memory about the plot. LOL even now, I can not for the life of me remember how the darn thing ended from my viewing last night.

So, to recap - most people will enjoy this movie, I did too, but I found it completely forgettable as well.

Decent noir thriller, nothing noteworthy or original, as the plot goes pretty much down the path you expect it to. It's engaging enough as it is though. The two leads share a remarkable chemistry that boosts the quality overall.

I really wanted to like this movie but it was too slow for me. Kinda dull to be honest.

I watched this drama, action, thriller, suspense, and romantic movie on Netflix. Colin Farrell loses his wife and his daughter and comes after who now is his boss, a few years later. His female neighbor blackmails him to do a hit on a drunken driver who ruined her life. They fall for each other. Great plot, twist at the end, and excellent movie! 5 stars.
