I liked it. I didn't like the fact that a couple of times people were trying to say that Chuck/Death with the Symbolic album were the first to break out of the "box" of what "death metal" is/should be. Regarding the Melodic guitars & such. Symbolic came out in 1995? Whereas Heartwork from Carcass was released in 1993. Thats basically my only complaint about the film.

This was a great doc, I learned a bunch about the early days of the band I don't think I ever knew. Hearing how all the surrounding bands just hopped in vans and drove to each others houses and how Chuck's mom would just set them up for the night just sounds so fucking heartwarming haha
