San Francisco police officer Frank Connor is in a frantic search for a compatible bone marrow donor for his gravely ill son. There's only one catch the potential donor is convicted multiple murderer Peter McCabe who sees a trip to the hospital as the perfect opportunity to get what he wants most: freedom. With McCabe's escape, the entire hospital becomes a battleground and Connor must pursue and, ironically, protect the deadly fugitive who is his son's only hope for survival.

This movie was wild! movies just aren't made like this anymore! Michael Keaton has such a big forehead like damn lol but yeah even in 2023 if you remade this movie in in current times I could see there being way more fluff and dull moments or really bad scenes. but for being done in 1998 that was done very good over all. If was in Michael Keaton's role I would go for more destruction and start wiping out police and get rid of the government release all the prisoners really make things turned up to 11 that would be some real Desperate Measures. I did like how they did the opening credits text motion graphics, with them being animated at a 2.5D Angle sorta and moving out of the frame a whole bunch I have seen a lot of opening movie credits and that really changes things up from all other movies that just do a basic 2D slap it on screen and fade it out boring style everyone does.

It is pretty simple: Michael Keaton is in the movie? I will watch it. This movie is a little cheesy, but Keaton's performance is pretty good. It might be his scariest role and he delivers with an intense yet likable performance. If only we could've seen what he was like before he was in jail.

Now that was good action film, specially a great one from Michael Keaton, definitely underrated.. they just don’t make them like this anymore..
