As what was intended to the last piece of Dexter's Lab media (if it didn't get 2 more seasons) I think this is pretty decent. A more action packed Dexter adventure this time, with the scene where the Dexters attack Mandark's fortress being my fav. one. Mandark's finest moments can be found all in this film, he turns out to be quite a more threatening villain instead of a joke.

What hurts this movie a bit though is that fact there is a smaller focus on comedy, which in my opinion was the best thing about the show. Regular Dexter isn't as amusing as he is on the show since the comedic moments are mostly given to the other Dexters, with Teen Dexter being the one that steals the show. I also think it should've been a bit longer, at only 50 minutes it feels a bit underwhelming, even as a child I thought this. It should have been at least 80 mins long to capture the epic grand finale it was going for. If you're a Dexter's Lab fan you'll definitely enjoy this just as much as you'd enjoy any other episode, but if you're not into the show I don't think it's safe to say you'd enjoy this movie.

Finding out that Christine Cavanaugh actually voiced 3 of the 4 Dexters is pretty awesome. I also have to say, as a Kingdom Hearts player re-watching this now had me wondering if the whole "Getting other versions of yourself from different time periods" was inspired from this movie lmao.
