I wouldn’t expect anything else from a Diabolik live action in 2021. Extraordinarily tacky under all of its aspects, maybe in an attempt to recreate the atmosphere of the 1960s comics? Although there are some inadvertently hilarious moments indeed, I struggled with sleep for most of the running time.

Diabolik Very bad, one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Super stupid dialogues, they seem to be copied and pasted from the comic book (in fact, I'm 100% sure of it) without any reworking. Really horrible acting from all the cast except Luca Marinelli, who couldn't express his acting skills at his best anyway because of the mono-expressiveness of the character. Very slow movie, with 2 hours and 15 minutes that never pass. Shit, shit, shit. 3/10

This movie felt like a very long episode of a mini series from Italian tv; the acting was not very natural and made me chuckle/cringe lots of times. It doesn't help that they didn't change the dialogues much from the original comics, which are from the 60s, so this can be a good thing or bad thing d More
