Brilliant Movie! If you liked Inglorious Bastards you will certainly like this one. I really like the style and how they even worked in Hip Hop music in this non traditional western, and it worked very well. I highly recommend it!

@cburg idk not as good as inglourious basterds in my opinion, while tarantino indulges heavily on both films inglourious basterds has a much more fluid and smooth plot.

This film is a total blast from start to finish and easily one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen. There is literally never a dull moment during the near 3 hour running length and the film has just about everything; it's funny, it's exciting, it's tense, it's unpredictable and of course, it's relentlessly violent.

'Django Unchained' is probably my favourite Tarantino film. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a film as much as this one, so much so that I would consider it one of my all time favourites. For sheer entertainment value, there aren't many that come close to this film.

Time flies when you're having fun and that is certainly true when it comes to 'Django Unchained'. So much so that I didn't really want it to end. An instant classic and another highly entertaining film from Tarantino.

A refreshing and calm first hour or so to a good movie that gets grittier and more unsettling nearing the halfway point towards the end. I enjoyed the unspoken camaraderie between Django and Dr. Schultz very much. Even more so after the relationship between them became more than what it was at first, on Dr. Schultz's part mostly, after the latter found out that Django was married and about Broomhilda. The character's fate at the end of the movie was touching but in a somewhat comedic manner. I like that while the movie takes place in a very discrimination-filled period of history against the blacks it's still filled with comedic moments here and there to lighten the mood making the experience of watching it more pleasurable and not as angry and whatnot at the racism of the black characters and how they're being treated. Good, enjoyable movie with some beautiful shots of the scenery, beautiful cinematography, great gunfights, and blood splatter.

Truly don't know what everybody find in this movie. Sometimes it feels that Tarantino can do anything he wants and people will praise it, no matter how really bad it is. The movie has some great action sequences, great actors and interesting characters, but the dialog is long and boring, and there is really nothing new, just same old Tarantino doing the same thing over and over again just with a little bit different story...

Terrific performances from everybody, especially Samuel L. Jackson. The shootouts are bloody, the plot is silly, the dialogue is great, this movie is just a blast.

This was quite the zany hectic movie! Imagine a mashup of the classic American western movie with slavery in the South. Don't think for a second that you are watching this movie like a documentary, because this movie thrives on the crazy concept of a freed slave gone gunslinger.

The movie definitely went along with the style of other Quentin Tarantino movies, and it really worked well here. By the end of the movie, I was both shocked and bursting out with laughter. "Our mutual friend has a flair for the dramatic."
