Makes me want to live at the 70's Venice, California so badly. What a lifestyle! A documentary on not just the Z-Boys themselves, but the skateboarding history since the 1950's. In the 1970's of Dogtown, the Z-Boys (Zephyr Team) were the most successful teenage skaters. They brought skateboarding to an entire new style. What started off as all fun and games for them; "Dirty, Filthy, and Paradise," turned them into the most inspirational skaters over the years. From the hard turns, to the pool/bowl skateboarding, and the Jay Adams andrecht handplants, the Z-Boys were the individuals and newcomers that helped skateboarding to grow.

Absolute must see for all skateboard fans. Amazing film by former Z boy Stacy Peralta. Passion, humor, nostalgia with some melancholy. Great soundtrack.
