Another retelling of the very start of DB along with the Red Ribbon Army saga. This movie was even better than the 1st retelling of the start of Goku's adventure, a lot of the changes really worked pretty well while keeping the aspects that made the anime so charming. Every character shines in the comedy department, both heroes and villains had me laughing. It nails the appropriate balance of action and humor with some of the finest animation you’ll ever find in this franchise. The fact that Pilaf is nowhere to be seen again gives this movie bonus points. The best DB movie by far in my honest opinion.
