On his 18th birthday, Goku receives a mystical Dragonball as a gift from his grandfather. There are only six others like it in the whole world, and legend has it that whoever possesses all seven will be granted one perfect wish. When the arrival of a dark force triggers a tragedy, Goku and his companions are propelled into an epic quest to collect the seven Dragonballs and save the Earth from destruction.

No...just no...I turned it off after the first 10 minutes and I should do it even earlier on... This is NOT Dragonball... This is NOT Goku! It's just a movie that borrows his name... Sorry...

"With this Dragon Ball, I take my vengeance... upon the Earth." Worst Kamehameha ever. I want to give them kudos for at least trying to attempt a live action Dragon Ball movie but no. I can't. Geeko? I mean, lame. Source material? Let's throw that out of the window! Just get some ideas out of Dragon Ball and use the names. Personalities of the characters in the manga? Let's throw that out of the window. I mean I can go on and on and on and on but hey, you probably never even going to attempt to watch this. The only thing Dragonball Evolution made wonder about is, how the hell did they get Chow Yun-fat in this? Damn and who at that point in time could've thought that two years later Justin Chatwin and Emmy Rossum would show up together in Shameless? Anyway just skip this. Even is you are a die-hard Dragon Ball fan.
