A decently good movie with amazing animation and a good plot. Although the dialogues were a little bit too much for characters of such age but that's just how Japanese anime works.

It was technically pleasing but I couldn't get into the plot or characters and felt bored several times. I see the poetic apeal of the theme, but a 30 minutes short movie would have been enough.

i liked the original idea of having these "lost" & "demolished" places like the apartment complex and ferris be represented the way they were, and the whole movie had the same vibes as "penguin highway" in a sense, animation was good obviously, score and voice acting the theme of 'learning how to say goodbye' was great too
