One of the best Kung-Fu movies of all time. A young Jackie Chan just killing it with the moves and the comedy in this one.

Such a great Kung Fu flick. Chan is super charming and shows off why he's regarded as such a master.

In my opinion, this isn't Jackies best film, but damn it is so awesome and if you love Jackie you will love this film so so very much. This film is hilarious and at the same time, it is jam-packed with beautiful fight sequences but also very unique fight sequences using its drunken style of fighting but also explaining it with every scene.

What is interesting with this film is it pioneered certain filming styles in movies and especially action, the way it films certain action/fight sequences were first seen in this film and I give credit to Jackie as usual but also I give credit to Yuen Woo-ping who is a masterful director in my opinion. Also, the movie definitely pays homage to the late Bruce Lee in one scene and any martial arts film lover will find it.

I need to mention as well, but the physical performance from Jackie in this film is insane as you can see the torture he went through to shoot some of these scenes but just honestly proves why he is a martial arts legend in every way.

PLEASE, PLEASE WATCH THIS!!!!!!!!!!! Just remember.......SUBS OVER DUBS!!!!!!!!!!

Drunken Master is, along with Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow, my favorite movies featuring Jackie in the late 70s. Great martial arts, good comedy, and some rather inventive choreography makes almost a two-hour runtime feel short. Essential viewing if you are a martial arts fan!!!
