Reminded me of "Dumb and Dumber" as it was similar kind of humour. I really enjoyed it. I thought the acting was great. Very exaggerated but not too over the top. It had a simple and decent storyline which is always a good sign for a comedy - Nothing too complicated. I thought parts of it were a little strange, like the space cult people but they were meant to be strange. Overall, I thought it was brilliant.

Dude, Where's My Car? is the perfect stoner movie. The plot is ridiculous but does it really matter when you are as high as kite.
P.S. To the movie snobs who are analyzing and shit. Stop it, get some help. Better yet smoke some grass.

Dude, Where's My Car? is a film that I have watched too many times in my life to count. It is top tier stoner comedy, with a solid cast, quotable from start to finish, and superb rewatch ability. Will it work as well today to someone watching for the first time? Most likely not. Will it work for me when I watch it another 100 times in my life? Yes. Every time yes.

One of my dirty pleasures. I get why people don't like this but for me it is all pure nostalgia. I have seen this so many times in my teenage years. We had an annual rewatch with the same group of friends for 8 years straight. We knew all the jokes. We laughed harder every year. It was basically us acting along with the movie.

Watching it a couple of years later I still freaking enjoy it. Still laughed a lot and realizing that this movie holds so many great memories for me.

So, don't take my rating for it. Set your expectations a bit lower and then grab your self some cold ones and then try to get a group watch going and then set your mind at zero and then you will hopefully enjoy this stellar stoner movie starring Michael Kelso and Stifler and then log it on Letterboxd and then give it any rating you like and then continue your day.
