They should've called this film _People Who Know Dumbo_ because when you replace the talking animals of the original cartoon with human actors, the movie stops being about Dumbo and more about people's drama. It's sad, actually, because the cartoon about Dumbo had more heart than anyone in this technological display.

The thing that flew away the entire length of the film were my tears. This is the best live action installment of Disney yet due to the very realistic moral to this story. Everything was just right. From the amazing cinematography to the cast and of course the star of the Circus; Dumbo. It makes you realize once more animals aren’t toys or puppets, they have feeling and need their own space. Watch Dumbo, cry over the cruelty we people bring to these pure beings, smile at the love they give and remember to never ever ride an Elephant in real life.

Not a good recreation and not interesting enough to keep my kids interest if they’re supposed to be the target audience. Stop trying to remake the classics

Straight off the bat: I do not like the 1941 original, which is one of Disney's weakest animated films in my opinion. So that's worth bearing in mind.

I watched this as a kid. Wasn't always my favorite. I just never really got into Dumbo. Good for the kids though.
