The exact details of what took place while Talib Ben Hassi was in police custody remain unclear. Police officers Jens and Mike are on routine patrol in Svalegården's ghetto when news of Talib's death comes in over the radio, igniting uncontrollable, pent-up rage in the ghetto's youth, who lust for revenge. Suddenly, the two officers find themselves fair game and must fight tooth and claw to find a way out.

This movie was incredibly violent. If you're not into blood and gang related movies, this is not for you! I think this movie could have been shortened a great deal. I really felt that for the subject matter, the movie ran far too long than it needed to be. But, I did enjoy it.

Like a sugar cube, it starts off solid and sweet but when it gets watered down it falls apart. This gritty Danish police thriller about two cops trapped in a rioting suburb has so many levels at the beginning (ACAB, the blue line, gangs, immigration...) but then they all collapse in the third act when the film decides it absolutely wants to be a traditional Hollywood film with the requisite twist that they force so hard it breaks the film. PS Dear directors, I just wanted you to know I caught the "Jusqu'à la tout va bien" graffiti reference in the parking garage. :thumbsup_tone2::wink:

[IFFR] One of the best police thrillers of 2020 is this Danish production that deals with topics such as racism and police violence with intelligence. Although it builds a plot that can sometimes be implausible, especially in terms of police behavior, first-time directors manage to maintain the suspense without the need for very spectacular action scenes. The film presents more psychological aspects than pure action, and makes the viewer change the perspective in front of the main characters, finding nuances in each of them.
