I liked this much more during my second viewing. It's a poorly acted, silly movie, but I can't help but wonder if the "Evil Dead" took inspiration from it. I really enjoyed the stop motion and the version I watched this time was the original student film. The ending was different and featured an ominous appearance outside the mental facility.

The hope was the possibility of personally discovering a lost Horror classic named "Equinox". The reality was that even with evil demons, a book of the dead, and stop-motion monsters, the best thing about this turned out to be watching the guy who played Herb Tarlek on "WKRP In Cincinnati".

What a bonkers! Never heard of this movie before and It's a gem. This film has so much crazy idea and I love how it all come together. The characters are very likeable, they're curious but kinda dumb, remind me so much of Scooby Doo characters. I liked the imaginative storytelling. They found an old book and thing went crazy after that. I love the stop motion effects in this one. The monsters look campy amateurish as I'd expect and they're unique and scary! The score was done well to set the mood. The manic laughter and the "kissing" scene really haunts me.
