From what I can make out, it's about a sexually repressed guy who isn't attracted to his wife anymore and whilst on holiday at Disneyland is attracted to, and sometimes pursues, two young girls. The nice guy and pervert also suffers from mild sexualised fantasies and extreme hallucinations. I liked that it showed that fantasy is a bit like a hallucination, but a mild self made one. The more extreme hallucinations are from a flu going around the park. So what's real and what isn't hallucination wise? Well all the hallucinations probably start from a real initial thought and go wherever.... Then there is the stress of losing a job- not emphasised enough though. That could of helped the character.

Filmed in black and white for practical lighting issues and filmed without the permission of Disney. Amazing how it got made at all - there are some great shots in this. I thought black and white also helped keep the real park visitors inconspicuous and added privacy.

As for the last half hour it's a full on cat flu hallucination, which is an excuse to go crazy. I usually dislike movies that try to be surreal or arty as they can be pretentious but this was more entertaining instead of pretentious. Why can't a surreal movie that's silly be just as good as one that pretends to be much more?

The movie also shows how someone like Disney carries on functioning after tragedies. It's an amplified version of reality. What happened at the very end? I'm thinking it was someone else's hallucination from the flu.

As you can see you can take a lot from the movie but it's up to the viewer. You create your own interpretation.
