I enjoyed that, a good performance from Sally Hawks that isn't recognizable in her Trakt picture. The films ingredients that fitted well were deepness, darkness, emotionally, mental health and with a hint of sense of humor that I loved.

Once again Sally Hawkins shows what a truly wonderful actress she is in this emotive and sensitively handled film. It's dark and funny, bittersweet and sad. A true one-off and a real must-see.

This wasn’t a comedy in the slightest it was quite depressing
I didn’t really get the storyline and the acting was good but like nothing even happened

Willie Nelson sings "Blue skies". But there is no blue sky. In continuous contrast, Craig Roberts creates a film that walks between comedy and drama, between illness and mental health, between reality and fantasy. Sally Hawkins and David Thewlis make up two profound characters, locked in their own state of mind. Depression can be terrifying. But there are moments of light, of blue skies, those to which to hold. Unbalanced at times it is, however, a constant challenge to normalcy.

@miguelreina Actually, there are blue skies streaming into the window towards the end. Maybe not obvious, but one of the subtle touches that portray a change. Also in the paintings, as well as the wall color. All symbolic rather than an obvious in your face portrayal.
