It's like the smell inside of someone else's dresser drawers: extremely personal but not at all for me.

This film about euthanasia of an elderly parent was good enough to make me uncomfortable (the filming of the elderly was incisive and, as the son of two aging parents, there were moments that hit close to home), but there were too many random subplots that were introduced and all but ignored that I felt the film was getting forgetful in its old age.

I put 6 for the actors, when in the film it is a little glimpling because it looks like a 'promotion for the end of the assisted life' ..........

It's to be appreciated that it addresses the euthanasia without drama, with the nonchalance provided by the excellent work of André Dussolier and the acceptance without rejection of the daughters. You have to be privileged not only to live but also to die with dignity, while the laws impose levels of suffering for those who decide to end their lives. It is a beautiful story that talks about knowing how to face death.
