I think the screen play for this movie was probably pretty good. Based on what happens this is a movie I'd probably watch. The direction however felt kinda wanting. Maybe it was a budget thing. The acting is pretty solid. Heather Graham is pretty going her lead flower girl character. I kinda wish we'd gotten more of her "dark" side. She ends up a little too stereotypical girly. Jennifer Coolidge is good without going overboard as she sometimes does in certain roles. Amber Heard is going her strong Kat Dennings which was so hardcore I had to check and make sure it wasn't some skinner Kat. Just like I had to check and make sure Joey Lauren Adams wasn't actually Jennifer Tilly in disguise. But they're great. And as much as I would have liked to see more darkness they play their characters well. They feel complete.

There's a lot of dark comedy in this movie but it doesn't feel like it fully commit to the whole "dark comedy" aesthetic. It's like a dark comedy-lite. The soundtrack has some fun pieces that aren't especially complicated. The snowball of comedic errors is reasonable as is the ending. I liked it, I'm glad I watched it but I'm not sure if I would watch it again or even show it to people.
