Not the first time I've watched this but certainly the last. I recall having a morbid fixation on this film back in the early '80s when it was available on VHS in those rare video stores that weren't afraid to put this out on their shelves for public display. Having an appetite for slasher/gory movies (the bloodier, the better!) when I found this one (along with _Make Them Die Slowly_ ) I just had to watch it. Back in the day, I was completely enamored with it and felt like everything portrayed was legitimate and had to be "real" and not staged. Fast-forward about 40 years and I'm trying to watch it today and bored completely out of my mind. It's so ridiculously staged (how did the camera get into the rooster's coop moments before it was killed?) that it's not even funny: it's just **boring** and **BAD** . The narration from the "doctor" is wooden, the audio (granted, this is a 40-year old video) is bad, the "deaths" are so common (come on, pitbulls fighting in a flurry of movement and then there's a shot of a dog lying there with red paint smeared across its neck) and, well... UN-gory that this isn't even fit to watch. I know all about the infamous "monkey scene" (anyone who's watched or probably even _heard_ of this film is probably familiar with the "monkey scene") but even that is ridiculous. Where did all these cameramen come from years before the advent of smart technology, phones with camera or video capability, etc? There just happened to be a cameraman in the arena when the young bullfighter was getting gored, right? And someone just happened to be standing there filming when the tourist got trampled/gored/re-trampled by the buffalo in Yellowstone Park, I guess? As I mentioned, years ago, this was fascinating to me but by today's standards, the "death" is very mild and the film itself is so obviously staged that I couldn't recommend this to ANYONE...not even prospective pathology graduates. Some of those "highway kill scenes" from the old Defensive Driver's courses are more fascinating (and scarier) than this tripe. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one; you will be hugely disappointed and - in all likelihood - mad at yourself for wasting almost two hours of your life hoping to see something really gross and tragic. This is nothing more than a droning documentary with a few fake scenes thrown in for (hopefully) some kind of effect.

This blows chunks.
