I think this film is base and amateurish. Yet what I love about Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! is that it doesn't care what I think.

The campness of this movie is what makes it great. Literally, every line is quotable. It's no masterpiece by Hollywood standards, yet, it's perhaps the best B-movie ever made. So good in fact, that it lies on the fringe between A and B movies.

What a spectacle. Utterly ridiculous, but there were moments of poetry in the silly dialogue. And while it was clearly exploiting the actresses involved, it’s also interesting to see this vision of women completely dominating every aspect of the film. I wouldn’t call this a feminist film (although I’d love to hear from non cis-men if you disagree) because everything is filtered through Corman’s gaze, but it does feel like the type of movie that couldn’t have been made even just five years prior. Interesting, at least.

(Second movie in my week to randomly feature a quote sampled by White Zombie.)
