Great movie would definitely recommend

I’m sorry but you could never convince me that Hillary Swank is Vegas fling worthy.

Мediocre movie. No need to rewatch or go back to this if you skipped in back in 2020.

Predictable, slow and boring. Hilary Swank’s acting is the best part of the film.

Hilary Swank and Michael Ealy star in the psychological thriller Fatale. A one-night stand comes back to haunt sports agent Derrick Tyler when the detective assigned to investigate a break-in at his house turns out to be a woman he slept with at a Vegas bachelor party, and the investigation soon exposes secrets that threaten to tear his life apart. Both Swank and Ealy give incredibly good performances; Swank especially, making for a remarkably compelling villain. Also, the script impressively builds tension and suspense, and director Deon Taylor sets an atmospheric and foreboding tone that heightens the material. An exciting and provocative film, Fatale is full of mystery and intrigue.

Good but missed opportunity to be great. There is a lot of talent cast in this movie including Hillary who is an Oscar winner. But its fairly predictable and they don't even try to hide the who-dun-it aspect.

The review that I read mentioned it felt like a 90s thriller - that Basic Instinct/Sliver style glossy noir crime thriller - that was so popular.

100% agree.

If this had starred Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone then, it would work even better than it does here. Partly because they're both solid actors (whereas Hilary Swank does much of the heavy lifting here) but also because the pacing would be more kind to the noir aspects of the plot.

This is not a bad film by any stretch. It is worth watching and it has the necessary engagement to pull you in.

I think the supporting cast though left some earnestness out of their acting. Mike Coulter should know better than phoning it in. And former Prince muse, Damaris Lewis, looks spectacular but her cold heartlessness didn't hit right... Just too hollow and too brutal.

Mildly entertaining but the ending blows!

Lance Stephenson in 2020 being the big signing for a valuable sports agency worth millions in of dollars is one of the most unbelievable things I have ever seen in a film.

The reviews are a bit harsh here, it's not boring, or slow really, but the one sentence description kind of blows it for you. "A married man is tricked into a murder scheme by a female police detective." A little more vague and you could be left wondering for a while but instead you already know what's going on and what to expect, which is pretty lame. That aside, the movie's actually pretty decent and not hard to understand. Not gonna win any awards, but worth the time? Absolutely.

The plot was not great but still held my interest, Hilary Swank was great, she was way above the rest. I was not rooting for any of the characters, they were all horrible people but it was entertaining to watch their stupid choices. The music score was HORRIBLE though, couldn't take that stupid bass anymore...

Boring with lots of bad acting. Don't waste your time.

I actually like Swank and Ealy, but this was bad. Had a few moments here and there that kept me from turning it off, but the script and plot were rough. 4.3. Avoid if you can

standard fare for the genre but the acting's pretty good and i like the cast so i'm not mad about it

A throwback to the kind of thrillers that were popular in the 90s. Sadly, this is a pale imitation of the best in the genre.
