I watched this in hopes of helping me not walk to Rite Aid at 2am for my usual basket of Starburst/peanut M&Ms/airheads/kit kat/skittles/sour skittles. According to this movie sugar is 8x more addictive than cocain. I 100% agree.

Movie was good, informative, and really sad. I was also dying watching these big Kids eat cereal so much because that's their healthy food. No its not! That's just as bad! Luckily the movie covered that.

Also, I did manage to go through the night without cracking and going to to rite aid...so I'd say this bad boy was a complete success. One full day without eating candy! Wahoo! Here comes day two.....

Pro regulation and anti-corporate movie. Liked it for the first hour, then got preachy which is why I gave it a five instead of one.

Still a great documentary that shaped my way I view food. In the past year, I've lost 40 pounds thanks to motivation from this eye-opening movie. Whether it be effective for you or not, it's still worthy of checking out. Well put together with plenty of interesting interviews and well documented verifiable research. Some people will argue the whole "Calories-In Calories-Out" debate, but I say, this movie still delivers a hopeful and positive message.

I found this infuriating. And not because it got me fired up against the food industry but because it's an infuriating documentary. The message I took away from this was 'It's not your fault if you are overweight, it's the food industries fault for making unhealthy food'.
This should really be "Fed up: Food Industry fattens their wallets from American stupidity".
If you want to put whatever the heck you want in your mouth then know what you are putting in there.

who shoved that stick up your ass mam.
being overweight is not just an individuals problem, its a big health issue in America. Thanks to the food culture there, Americans are the ones who get fat. Look at other countries with different food culture, they're not even close to the obesity rates.
People have a hard time getting rid of fat once its in the body. If you look at studies, after a year 95% of people regain the fat they had lost. If it was a small minority that had an overweight and obesity problem, then that wouldn't be a health issue on a national scale. But when we're talking about America, where they fucking serve FAST FOOD RESTURANT FOOD in freaking SCHOOL CAFETERIAS??? Like wtf, of course they get fat. And if you learn from birth, from childhood, that you should eat fat and suger because it tastes good, and there are no fucking options to eat healthy in school, then ofc you won't change your behaviour. How inconsiderate and ignorant are you? It's like you didn't even watch the documentary. You must be either someone who has never experienced any problem with weight and if so, GOOD FOR YOU, or someone who has, but was lucky enough to be able to change your behaviour which 95% of people CANT DO.
It would've been perfectly fine and good if you actually tried to give constructive criticism, but you're just a plain, ignorant fatshamer, and you should be ashamed of your behaviour. Sadly, people find behaviour hard to change. So, good luck to you. Must you one day learn that your actions and words have consequenses, and you can't just go around saying "you know what you're putting in your mouth" and fatshame, when you should fucking know how addictive sugar and fat is to the body. It's become a disease, it's like smoking or alochol. Only sugar is even more addicitive than any of those.

@aneemelia Kate (Katus) was simply describing her opinion about the movie (as that is what this site is for), and instead you bash Kate by name-calling and shouting expletives at her? That's really sad. When it comes to movies, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
