I never heard of this movie. I found it occupying the #1 spot in a "scariest horror movies" list made by the admin of a horror themed Facebook page. On that very same list, _Insidious_ was in last place, _Drag me to Hell_ was near the top, and _Sinister_ was absent. I was already suspicious of said list, by then. Still, the comments were praising _Fire in the Sky_ so much, saying things like "oh, yeah, _Fire in the Sky_, totally creepy, that [spoiler]eye[/spoiler] scene still gives me the chills"... "OK, despiste the truly badly compiled list, must be a good movie, then, judging from all these comments, so let's watch it", I naively thought to myself.

The movie is absolutely, gut wrenching boring for the vast majority of it. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, ever happens, besides some hillbillies looking sketchy while being accused of murder by the town's people, and everyone still being a terrible actor at it. There are only, I think, [spoiler]three rather short scenes (except for the last one)[/spoiler] involving extra-terrestrial stuff and only the last one is mildly (emphasis on "mildly") unsettling. By that time I was thinking to myself "what f*cking [spoiler]eye[/spoiler] scene?! Where's that chilling [spoiler]eye[/spoiler] scene I saw everyone talking about in the comments?!". By then I realised I was watching a fluke. The aliens look like your average Monday morning worker. The only cool thing, for me, about this movie was the actually reasonable concept that [spoiler]the typical alien figure that people have been describing throughout history are actually suits with aliens inside them (they show the suits later in the movie).[/spoiler]

If you're looking for horror, avoid this movie. If you're looking for sci-fi, avoid this movie. If you're looking for a genuinely unsettling movie with aliens, go watch _Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County_ (not a great movie, but a way better experience than this one tried to deliver).
This one's a bad egg. If you, like me, were dragged into this one because of some hype you read online, you've been warned.

Of course, I stopped following that Facebook page that started this for me. Those guys clearly don't have a clue about horror (and, to be perfectly clear, this isn't a horror movie and isn't even remotely scary or creepy).
