Maybe I went into Flatliners expecting a bit too much? Because to me it felt drawn out, the movie could've been 20 minutes shorter and I hoped that Nelson (Kiefer Sutherland) would've stayed dead.

Anyway I really like the premise of Flatliners, I really enjoy the cast and it is beautifully fully shot but I can't shake the feeling that I felt bored watching it. I even fell asleep near the one-hour mark. It feels so ambitious but it never really packs the punch I think it wants to.

If you enjoy the cast it might be worth a watch. Maybe I wasn't totally in the mood for it and that is why it felt so boring but I don't think I'll rewatch this one anytime soon.

Such a shame, I wanted to like this so much.
